I love spending this time alone. Between living with roommates and living in the city that never sleeps I rarely get to be truly alone. Being at my parents’ house when they’re away has meant truly being alone and it’s just been so relaxing. Although it’s weird to think that I haven’t really spoken to anyone all day!
I went and ran some errands this afternoon. I bought nectarines from an over-priced farm stand, I exchanged a dress at Target and bought running pants, I bought a book at Borders and checked out the merchandising of some of the books my company publishes, got ice cream from a local homemade ice cream place, and then picked up a slice of pizza.
Here’s dinner:
Lots of wine, tomatoes and peppers, tomato and basil pizza, and a garlic knot.
Later I had a nectarine (and more wine):
And some Emergen-C:
(still the same glass of wine)
And then the ice cream I bought:
I only ate half the ice cream, I was so stuffed.
I’ve been watching tennis all night. Tennis is one of my true loves in life. As the US Open gets closer I’m going to be devoting a lot more time to tennis. I’m truly obsessed. You might even find it disturbing 🙂
